Since a couple of years the interest for conducting increased and became part of the musical life of Manuel Visser. 

Manuel currently studies orchestral conducting at the 'Conservatorium van Amsterdam' with Lucas Vis.

He participated in the semifinal of the Weiz (Austria) conducting competition 2009. 

He also participated in masterclasses by maestro Jorma Panula, Tilo Lehmann (with the Philharmonie Sudwestfalen), Achim Holub and Toby Pursur (with the Kammerphilharmonie Graz), Charles Olivieri-Munroe (with the Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Vysočina and the North Czech Philharmonic Orchestra). 

Manuel Visser is the conductor of the orchestra of the 'Academy of Musical Talent', the 'Amphion' youthorchestra and chamberorchestra 'Trajectum' all situated in the Netherlands.
